in anticipation of animanga launch

I'm sure that every otaku fangirl (or fanboy) out there has at least one place on the internet where the endless discussion of anime and manga can take place. For me, this is no exception. While I still have access of my Abstract Abyss it's really more of a personal life blog than anything else. There, I refuse to mention too much about my other, not so personal otaku lifestyle, except in passing.

And thus this anicabyss - animanga zone has been created. Sure, I know, it's not the best of names, but it's really all I could think about at the time.

Here, in this very blog spot, I will be able to talk and discuss everything I normally wouldn't be able to discuss in my real life. For me, this is bliss. And for the past three days, I've been brainstorming and writing and editing with the intention of launching and somewhat organized new anime/manga blog that anyone can enjoy.

The idea of anicabyss is to present to any curious readers my personal as well as objective opinions and thoughts over any anime or manga I've viewed lately. I hope to present reviews, compositions, personal thoughts, and also to share with everyone any specific pieces of work that stands out from the rest.

My monthly or weekly features (depending on my mood) will include:

- A section of reviews for manga or anime I've completed
- A section of thoughts and opinions on those that I am still in the midst of viewing
- A section to introduce new anime or manga that I've discovered most recently
- A section of different features, including discussion of seiyu, mangaka, manga, anime, themes, etc, etc, and anything else that can be thought of

Basically, anything that can be related to anime, even personal, short, very, very brief posts over something anyone could have thought of will be posted on anicabyss.

For now, no matter how organized I may be, this is really just an anything goes weblog for a subject that I've been obsessing over for probably the past year. I've watched many anime since then, I've read many manga, and I've developed a taste for the Japanese entertainment/animation diet (as well as for their food too...).

And so, take this post as a preamble to my newest plight. Each week my goal is to at least introduce one to two new reviews; each month I hope to post one or two new features; and as I move along my way, I hope to come up with more, interesting and fun ideas to share with the rest of the online community.

As of today, anicabyss is scheduled to launch it's very first feature in the following month of August. If I'm in a good enough mood, then I may move the first post up a week or two. Until then, anticipate the very first official animanga post in approximately 20 days.

To all the community out there, thank you very much for your time and please guide me well. I'll need all the help I can get.
